Restorative Yoga
An exceptionally soothing and stress-relieving form of yoga, where we spend an extended amount of time in each posture. During these sessions, we receive ample support from props like blankets, bolsters, cushions, and yoga blocks, allowing the body to luxuriate in stillness while emphasising health, wellness, and longevity. It's not about striving or stretching but rather about allowing the mind and body to effortlessly unwind.
Physical exertion is minimal during this practice but it doesn't mean nothing is happening. The tight grip of thoughts begins to loosen and anxious feelings gradually subside. Restorative Yoga truly offers a profound physical and emotional experience and can be enjoyed at all stages of life and circumstance. Once you have experienced the basics you can easily practice at home using props you have.
