Yoga
observation, support and compassion
Working with the three pillars of observation, support, and compassion, I specialise in slow, mindful and restorative practices to meet you where you are.
Despite taking place on a mat that occupies a relatively small space, yoga invites movement, a journey of kinds that involves the body, the mind, and the breath. This is something that is often referred to as ‘a shift’ or ‘shifting’. If the destination is to live life in a way that embraces wellbeing and creativity, Soulful Nature provides the mode of transport: slowing down, taking care of the body, finding deep rest.
Through movement, supportive props and mindful breath work, I hold space for you to unwind, change relationships with physical pain or fatigue, and embrace a calmer way of life. When recovering from one of life’s challenges, or healing physical ailments, yoga offers a refuge. It guides the body so that it can rest in ease and comfort, releasing tension and returning to a state of homeostasis.
Slow Flow Yoga
Our morning yoga classes are rooted in the foundational principles of Hatha yoga and mindfulness. Each class focuses on stability, mobility, cultivating breathing techniques and fostering mindfulness. Whether you're a beginner eager to explore or a returning enthusiast seeking like-minded individuals, you're warmly invited to join our welcoming group.
Restorative Yoga
An exceptionally soothing and stress-relieving form of yoga where ample support from props (blankets, bolsters, cushions and yoga blocks) allows the body to luxuriate in stillness to facilitate health and longevity. It's not about striving or stretching but rather about allowing an effortless unwinding. Restorative Yoga offers a profound physical and emotional experience and can be enjoyed at all stages of life and circumstance.
Personal practice
There’s a time in life when a personal practice comes forwards, maybe that’s now. In reducing stress and resistance, we are able to go about our daily lives in a way that feels natural and, therefore, effortless. Yoga creates for us a space where there is simplicity, making time for connection, time for introspection, gives us a shot at balance and harmony.
