Masterclass : Impressions of Nature
Nature-Inspired Cyanotype Workshop
One 3.5-hour session, in-person in Sculthorpe, North Norfolk — August dates available, please enquire.
A mindful workshop exploring the beautiful process of cyanotype — using sunlight and natural forms to create distinctive botanical blue prints on paper and fabric.
Held in my garden studio, this relaxed session invites you to slow down, observe and create with nature. We’ll gather inspiration from leaves, flowers, grasses and seed heads, arranging them intuitively before using the cyanotype process to capture their shapes, shadows and delicate details in rich Prussian blue.
You’ll be gently guided through each stage of the process, with plenty of space to experiment, play and create your own individual pieces.
No experience is needed — this workshop is open to complete beginners and those returning to creativity.
All materials and refreshments are provided — just bring yourself and a willingness to explore.
What’s included:
– An introduction to the cyanotype process
– Creating botanical prints using natural materials
– Mindful, nature-inspired making
– Time to experiment with composition, light and form
– A calm, creative experience
– Your own collection of unique cyanotype prints on paper and fabric to take home
